Is it just me, or does anyone else feel like a coding superhero after a great tech meetup?
Just powered down from the React Delhi x Appwrite meetup event, and boy, was it an adventure!
Vansh Kapoor and Jaskeerat Singh from React Delhi hosted a meetup so engaging, it made state management look like child’s play. These two could probably explain props to a potato, and the potato would get it!
Nishant Jain and Bishwajeet Parhi from Appwrite took us on a wild ride through their platform. Their auth and database workshop was so hands-on, I think I’ve got API calls stuck under my fingernails!
Ever wonder why 1mg always tops your medicine search results? Well, now I know their secret weapon: Catalyst framework. These Tata 1mg engineers have been cooking up something special, and it’s going open-source later this year. Talk about a prescription for success! presented by Parth Mahajan and Mayank Garg.
I was particularly impressed by their use of Intersection Observer for dynamic rendering and lazy loading. My views on performance optimization will never be the same. They made it feel just like our daily React code.
The cherry on top? Reuniting with my React meetup squad and meeting some brilliant new faces. Nothing beats the feeling of being surrounded by people who get excited about curly braces and JSX!
Who knew a Saturday could be so productively geeky? Can’t wait for the next one!
